Mobius Presents: 2025 Boston Butoh and Performance Art Festival

Mobius is thrilled to announce the 2025 Boston Butoh and Performance Art Festival premiering April 24th through the 27th at the Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Theater. The festival features performances by internationally-acclaimed artists Joan Laage/Kogut Butoh, Mitsu Salmon, Julie Andree T, Alejandra Herrera Silva, Sara Zalek and Rosemary Candelario.

A free film screening kicks off the weekend and a 2-day movement workshop will give participants an up-close opportunity to experience butoh. This is a rare opportunity for Boston audiences to dive deeply into the enigmatic avant-garde art forms of butoh and performance art.
