This calendar has all the details of upcoming Mobius events (like the Spring 2024 edition of our favorite high speed performance art event 1-Minute Solos, curated by Jimena Bermejo) as well as events that members of our group are involved in outside of Mobius.
The calendar also serves as a history of our group’s live and online activities since the Covid pandemic began, including our Spiderweb series of artist talks by emerging and mid-career artists from the New England area.

Mobius Artist Event: Jimena Bermejo at School of Contemporary Dance & Thought
Jimena will be performing at The School of Contemporary Dance & Thought in Western Massachusetts on March 26th, 2023. She will be presenting a solo inspired by memories of growing up in Mexico and exploring issues of identity and immigration.
Mobius Artist Event: EL Putnam PseudoRandom
Emerson Contemporary is proud to present a solo exhibition featuring recent works by video and performance artist EL Putnam. On display will be performative videos, a large scale projection, new glitched landscape “paintings” and an exploratory series of generative animations. Putnam examines performance art beyond lens based media, while questioning the ways time and space collapsed during the pandemic. The exhibition explores aesthetic encounters through digital performance by implicating the artist, technology, and the viewer. Putnam will create new, live performance work in January and March 2023.
