Please join us for an open rehearsal of work-in-process other stuff by Audrey MacLean and share feedback as the artistic team continues to develop and investigate this new project. 

Shared through the new Dancemakers Laboratory at BCA, other stuff by Audrey MacLean, aims to explore the emotions attached to simple human tasks, and by doing so, build a shared understanding between performers and audience. No matter how inconsequential something may seem on the surface, it can still evoke emotion or create feelings of nostalgia; these theories are what other stuff hopes to unpack. 

Through a series of vignettes, other stuff will explore questions including: Is vulnerability always honest? Can a singular idea stir up memories in multiple viewers? Is it possible to balance a cup of water on your head for more than two minutes? Each subsequent vignette will have a life of its own, based on the individual stories of its performers; able to stand alone, but also as part of a larger picture - just like all of us.
